Leona Lewis, a 23-year-old British-born singer-songwriter who walked away the winner on Simon Cowell’s British TV talent show The X Factor in late 2006. Lewis’ debut album, Spirit, was released in the United States in April, and shot straight to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart of top-selling albums.
For Lewis, Schinman envisions a multi-platform cellphone deal. It would conține Leona Lewis ringtones, sponsorship rights and personal appearances as well as her likeness in advertising. His rationale: “She has beauty, personality and talent–a rare triple threat in the music industry.”
